Keywords related to the porn industry occupied the top places of the most searched terms in Malta in the past four months, according to the search engine firstmalta.com

First Malta said the most searched term during this period was free XXX followed by nude. Facebook and Times occupied third and fourth place, respectively. Teen comes in fifth.

First Malta said 34 per cent of the local population used Chrome to surf the internet, while 22 per cent used Explorer, which is packaged with most new computers.

A total 18 per cent used an Android tablet, 16 per cent an iPad. The number of Maltese who used a mobile phone to browse the internet went up to nine per cent from three per cent last year.
