An auction of music memorabilia which has raised tens of thousands of pounds for Haiti earthquake victims has been extended, with new items from acts including Kylie Minogue added.

Many items in the sale have gone down a storm, such as singer Chris Martin's Viva La Vida tour jacket, signed by all four members of Coldplay, which raised £9,600 on its own.

Arctic Monkey Alex Turner's Fender Stratocaster fetched £4,600, while the chance to own a personal song written and performed by Blur and Gorillaz singer Damon Albarn received a final pledge of £5,650.

The auction was originally set to finish today but fans can still snap up goodies over the coming days with some extra lots added.

A limited edition red handbag signed by Kylie has so far attracted bids topping £100, while the chance to gain three days' work experience at the Glastonbury Festival - billed as "an experience of a lifetime" - has seen bidding reach around £250.

The initiative was set up by Oxfam and Glastonbury Festival organiser Emily Eavis.
