A hooded man wielding a gun barged into an agricultural outlet in St Paul's Bay and got away with just under €200 yesterday morning.

A 27-year-old salesman from Paola was working in the shop, in Burmarrad Street, when the incident took place at 7. He was not injured and immediately called the police once the thief made off with the cash.

Magistrate Jacqueline Padovani is holding an inquiry and Mosta district police, together with the Criminal Investigation Department, are investigating.
