Policemen at police headquarters are working at a frenetic pace to complete and inaugurate a crime museum just three days before the general elections, the Labour spokesman on home affairs said today.
Gavin Gulia said the inauguration of this museum was part of an election strategy by the Ministry of Home Affairs, and it was shameful that the police corps was being used as a stage for political propaganda by the government.
Dr Gulia also said that more transfers within the police force were being ordered, to accommodate certain individuals ahead of the elections. This was further to the 149 transfers ordered on February 18.
