Committees being set up by the government in the wake of the John Dalli report on Mater Dei Hospital will call in the police should criminal abuse be identified, Health Minister Godfrey Farrugia said this evening.

The minister, speaking in parliament, said the committees would delve  into procurement procedures and the award of contracts and those responsible for abuse would be held to account.
