Less than 500 euros were stolen in a hold-up at Marrit Pharmacy in Fleur-de-Lys, this morning.

The police said that a hooded man armed with a firearm entered the shop, in First of May Street, and asked the pharmacist for cash. Another person was at the shop at the time.

The thief made off with the cash.

A magisterial inquiry is underway.
