A man, 53, was arrested early this morning shortly after stealing a handbag belonging to a young woman from a club in Paceville.

The incident happened at about 2.15 a.m., in Triq San Gorg.

The theft was seen by a man who notified a police patrol, giving the officers a description of the thief.
