Young people’s role in society made the country richer in resources, ideas and energy, the Nationalist Party said in its message for Youth Day.

It said young people encouraged positive change and their commitment to society strengthened the country’s social fabric.

So they should be given all necessary space to succeed and realise their ambitions and their ideas should be given the importance they deserved.

A country which wanted to progress and succeed was a country which invested in young people and which had confidence in their abilities and potential.

The PN paid tribute to all young people saying it believed in them and in their abilities. It thanked them for their commitment and encouraged the government to continue implementing a policy which invested in them.

It also had words of encouragement to those going through difficult times because of the current global economic crisis saying it was convinced that their abilities would help them ride the waves.

The party encouraged the government to strengthen its assistance towards young people working in non-governmental organisations.
