The Nationalist Party spent €2,208,705 on its electoral campaign, it said today.

The party said it collected €1,841,000 - €1,533,000 in three fund-collecting marathons and €308,000 from donations given on other occasions.

It said it spent €1,028,915 on activities for the masses, €438,000 on mass advertising, €400,440 on printing of publications and merchandising and €341,350 on IT, social media and advertising in newspapers and other publications.

General secretary Chris Said said the party was giving an overview of its expenditure for transparency and accountability.
