The Opposition will be opening its doors to suggestions from the public this weekend at the first PN general convention.

The series of meetings, entitled Idea Malta, will invite members of the public to weigh in on party policy as part of the PN’s restructuring process.

PN General Secretary Chris Said said the party wanted to hear from all its members, NGO leaders and other citizens who had ideas for the future of the party.
“We want to invite everyone to join us in this process,” he said.

The convention was proposed by a specially appointed review commission, headed by Francis Zammit Dimech, and will be held every year.

Suggestions will be noted and later used to help draft party policy through the PN policy forum.

The convention will be held at the Carinthia San Gorg Hotel in St Julian’s between Friday and Sunday.
