Nationalist MPs elected on the 11th district marked World Environment Day last week by planting a tree each at Attard Primary School. The MPs were Charlo' Bonnici, David Agius and Joe Cassar. Another tree was sponsored by Opposition Leader Simon Busuttil.

The activity was held on the initiative of Mr Bonnici,  shadow minister for the environment, to compensate for the use of paper during electoral campaigns.

The event was organised in conjunction with the school administration and the 34U campaign. Members of the school’s senior management team, teachers and pupils were present.
