The Nationalist Party's media company, Media.link Communications, has submitted a formal complaint to the Institute of Maltese Journalists and requested the Broadcasting Authority to take action against the Labour Party for not inviting its journalists to its activities. This, it said, also used to take place during the electoral campaign and it insisted on a remedy.

Media.link said it did not receive the coverage calls for the PL's last two appointments although these had been sent to other media.

These included the PL leader's visit to the Freeport and meeting with the Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry.

The company said it suspected the PL and its leader did not want to face Media.link journalists and their questions.
