PN leader Adrian Delia is in Brussels for his first meeting of the European Popular Party.

He had been due to attend another EPP meeting in October, but postponed it after the Daphne Caruana Galizia murder.

The Nationalist Party pointed out that the meeting is being held against a background which had seen Malta just avoid being labelled a tax haven after a resolution backed by the socialist group in the EP.

It said Dr Delia would use the meeting to explain the situation in Malta and defend the country's reputation.

Dr Delia is accompanied by the PN spokesman on EU affairs David Stellini and international secretary Roselyn Borg Knight.
