The Nationalist Party today lodged another two complaints with PBS - one about yesterday’s Dissett, the other about yesterday’s news bulletin report about a news conference given by the Transport Minister.

The PN said that Dissett debated the LNG storage tanker at Marsaxlokk but even though this was a politically controversial subject, two people who were in favour of the proposal were invited but only one who was against.

It was clear that the panel was chosen with the aim of promoting the government’s agenda a few days before two political activities by the two main parties were held and before a decision about the matter was taken by the planning authority. Mepa is to debate the matter on Monday, the PN said.

During the news bulletin, the station reported about a news conference on the car VAT registration refunds without reporting a statement on the subject issued by the Nationalist Party.

The PN’s letters to PBS can be read in the attached files below.
