The Nationalist Party has a complaint with Public Broadcasting Services regarding Tuesday's news bulletin.

The PN said that it was clear that the PBS newsroom was regularly pushing the government's agenda with the length of stories, the narrative used and repetition.

The Opposition, on the other hand, was being strangled with dry reports drawn up in a way to cancel their message through other news.

This, the party said, could clearly be seen if one compared the main story on Tuesday on the sale of Enemalta's shares and the reportage of the Opposition leader's analysis of the government's first year.

PBS was also regularly broadcasting the Labour Party's statements replying to what the Opposition would have said on the government's administration.

The PBS newsroom, the PN said, was not distinguishing between party and government and was allowing the Labour Party to speak on behalf of the government.

The PN's complaint can be read in the pdf link below.
