The government had expressed satisfaction over a report by the EU task force on migration even though it said nothing about relocation of migrants from Malta, the Nationalist Party said this morning.
This used to be what the Labour Opposition used to criticise the then government about in the past, the PN recalled.
It said most of the report proposals were a continuation of what was already being done, with nothing about commitments by other countries to receive migrants. This was what Prime Minister Joseph Muscat had called on Europe to 'smell the coffee'.
The people expected the government to meet the expectations set for them, the PN said.
