Nationalist Party deputy leader Mario de Marco this evening complained in Parliament at the way the institution was being treated by the government.

His statement came during the answering of Parliamentary questions after Education Minister Evarist Bartolo repeatedly insisted he had nothing to add in reply to several supplementary questions made by Nationalist MPs Francis Zammit Dimech and Toni Bezzina.

The original question related to appointments on boards.

The minister had earlier said he was informed that the Parliamentary question was being answered on the same lines as under the previous administration.
