The Nationalist Party has complained to the Broadcasting Authority and demanded "remedy" after TVM aired the Prime Minister's New Year's Eve and New Year's Day messages.

The Prime Minister's message was built on partisan propaganda dealing with controversial themes, such as the power station which should have been built nine months ago, the so-called American University of Malta, the Nationalist Party said in a statement.

"The least thing the prime minister should have done in a speech addressed to the nation is to steer away from controversial themes which are partisan."

"The PN feels uncomfortable with the truth, and the protest is has submitted to the BA shows paranoid record levels."
