The Nationalist Party presented a list of 34 candidates for its casual elections to fill six parliamentary seats.

Two MPs (Francis Agius and Stephen Spiteri) will be aiming to get the seat vacated by PN leader Lawrence Gonzi on the second district.

Eight candidates will be vying for the seats vacated on the ninth district by Robert Arrigo and Simon Busuttil, and the seat on the tenth district vacated by George Pullicino.

The counting of votes will take place on Wednesday at the Naxxar Counting Hall, starting at 8am.
