Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi and Finance Minister Tonio Fenech visited the ST Microelectronics plant in Kirkop on Tuesday for discussions with the company's top management. Dr Gonzi was shown round the hi-tech facilities being developed by ST in line with its strategy agreed with the government to enhance the viability of the Malta operation.
