Rather than work towards the provision of more employment opportunities, the Prime Minister was sweeping the unemployment problem under the carpet, the Nationalist Party said.
In a statement, the PN referred to statistics issued by the NSO which confirmed there were more than 630 people seeking employment in the first six months of Labour administration.
The government, however, played with the figures to give a different picture altogether. This would not, however, provide any consolation to those who lost their job or wanted to enter the Labour market.
