The Labour Party said today that PN leader Simon Busuttil contradicted himself yesterday when he declared in Parliament that the new Police Commissioner had decided, 'on his own', not to arraign John Dalli.
He had been previously insisted that there was political interference in the police handing of the Dalli case, the PL observed.
Dr Busuttil's new declaration meant that Dr Busuttil was trying to clear up the mess he got himself into in Parliament last week, the PL added.
"Simon Busuttil is sinking, and he is dragging the PN with him to hide his own mistaken and hurried decisions," the PL said.
