The two major political parties are holding mass meetings today, just under two weeks before the general election is held.

The Labour Party is holding its meeting in Mqabba while the PN has called its supporters to Naxxar.

The crowd in Mqabba was told that the party is stepping up a gear, with another mass meeting planned at Corradino on Thursday, for young people.  John Bencini, former president of the Malta Union Of Teachers took the stage called for people to show their full support with Kevin Drake (the former head of PN radio who was criticised for comments he made at a PL activity). Mr Bencini said this was the first time he was on the stage of a PL mass meeting had he was proud to be part of this movement.
