The 90th anniversary of the death of Manuel Dimech was commemorated by the Labour Party this evening when flowers were laid by the party's leadership at the foot of his monument in Castille Square Valletta.

The delegation was led by PL leader Joseph Muscat, deputy leader Toni Abela and president Stefan Zrinzo Azzopardi.

After six and a half years in exile, Manuel Dimech died on April 17 in Alexandria, Egypt, 90 years ago, aged 60.
