The first Maltese person in line to receive an arm transplant, following an electric shock that mutilated much of his body, speaks to Pink about the anxiety but determination to go through with the major surgery that is full of risks.

In an interview with the magazine, out with The Sunday Times of Malta tomorrow, he says he is doing it for the love of his daughter; to be able to say he did his utmost not to deny her anything.

Other features in the September issue highlight harshly contrasting situations for two mothers: one is the moving and painful story of a woman who is coming to terms with the fact that she gave birth to stillborn twins; and the other paints a completely different picture as it showcases the latest fad, whereby mothers-to-be organise professional pre-birth photos shoots to capture the happy memory of the pregnancy for life.
