The fourth edition of The Pink Fashion Show, a Times of Malta event, kicks off this evening at Savio College, Dingli, where 30 models will be showcasing the season's must-haves, from clothing to sunglasses, jewellery and shoes.
Preparations are in full swing at the school sports grounds to set the scene for the sought-after event that is fast establishing itself on the local fashion calendar.
A host of hairdressers and make-up artists are busy creating the look. It's a young, "not well finished" hairstyle "of the moment" that is in keeping with the ambience and ties everything together with coloured hairpieces, while the make-up harks back to the 1980s, with is a modern streak.
Models are wearing F&F, Guess, Ipanema, Karen Millen, Marks & Spencer, Miss Selfridge, Optika, Oysho, Punt Roma, River Island and Skagen, which will be presenting a mix of the top trends of the season to suit all tastes, with a focus on block colours to make the outfits pop, plus a sporty touch.
This season's show is sponsored by Chemimart, Diet Kinnie, L’Extase by Nina Ricci, Magnum, Make-up Studio, Piscopo Gardens, Renault, Rummo and Screen Professional Hair Care.
