A 30-year-old woman from Birzebbuga who was riding pillion was grievously injured  in a traffic accident in Triq Sant’Andrija, Swieqi, this afternoon. She is not in a critical condition.

The police said the accident happened at around 6 p.m. when a Honda Civic that was being driven by a 21-year-old man from Pembroke collided with a Honda XL650 motorbike that was being ridden by a 47-year-old man from Mgarr.
