Italian pianist Michelangelo Carbonara will give a recital at the San Lawrenz Kempinski Hotel's medieval-style banqueting room on December 7 at 7.30 p.m.

Carbonara, hailed by the London Sunday Times' Culture magazine as "pianist extraordinaire" who "will become one of the greatest pianists ever", will play Chopin and Brahms as well as Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue.

Last July, Carbonara took part in the Victoria International Arts Festival.

The concert is being organised by Sonia Sinclair Stevenson. All proceeds will go to the Friends of the Sick and the Elderly in Gozo. Entrance fee is €20. Those who would like to stay for dinner need to pay an extra €30.

For booking call Ms Stevenson on 2156 2074, fax 2156 3396, or e-mail info@tssgallery.com.
