Petrol and diesel prices have remained unchanged in the August price revision, issued today. There have, however, been reductions in the price of industrial fuel.

The corporation said the revisions reflect the prices fetched for the latest shipments of imported fuel.
The July petrol and diesel consignments were based on July Platts prices which on average were slightly lower than the previous consignment pricing basis. Still stability in the price was brought about due changes in stock levels.
Petrol prices (CIF Med, Prem Unl 10ppm) decreased slightly by 0.14% from an average price of $700/MT in June 2010 to an average level of $699/MT in July 2010.
