No one was injured in this penthouse fire in Swieqi this morning. Eyewitnesses said they could see flames coming out of a window as well as a thick pall of smoke. Roland Schaffrath, who took this picture, was among those who alerted the Civil Protection Department, which deployed two fire engines to the scene.They quickly brought the flames under control. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
