Maltese biscuits (biskuttini) produced by Leo Confectionery are not to be consumed by those with a peanut allergy, as they contain traces of peanuts that have not been declared on the label, the health authorities are warning.

The packets have a best before date of January 30, and the producer has been instructed to relabel the product.

Meanwhile, the authorities also issued a similar warning about bacon-flavoured wheat potato snacks by Bacos, salt and vinegar chips by Potato Chips, cheese and onion pops by Scotts Mans and cocktail snack by Multi Taste Snacks.
