The leader of the Democratic Party has called on Opposition Leader Adrian Delia to agree to a parliamentary debate on a no-confidence motion in Tourism Minister Konrad Mizzi on December 6.

Alternate Thursdays are opposition days in parliament when the Opposition can move its business. The PD gave notice of its no confidence motion last week.

Godfrey Farrugia, who heads the PD, said his party is also calling on the prime minister to remove his chief of staff Keith Schembri, in view of the revelations about secret company 17 Black and the secret companies owned by Mizzi and Schembri,

"We support the work of our police force and call for the 17 Black criminal investigation to be given all resources and be free from all interference, including political interference," Dr Farrugia said.
