When - it must have been about a couple of years ago now - those responsible for progamming at PBS radio made that very bad mistake of stopping Mgr Victor Grech's regularly wise, humble, and widely socially contributory Saturday morning programmes, I remember writing to say what a disservice to Maltese society that decision had been. Well, the Lord moves in multifarious ways. This programme has since then been regularly broadcast on Saturday mornings on RTK Radio, and the much loved Dun Victor continues to impart to us all not only his wisdom and love towards humanity, but also helpful and consoling words and advice to all his regular listeners. The phone-ins continue unabated, and that is clearly evidence that his listenership has continued to increase.

PBS's loss has been RTK's gain, but quite apart from that, we who listen to him regularly cannot but say how fortunate this land is to have priests of his sentiment, intellectual calibre, and profoundness of religion. Thank you Lord for Dun Victor.
