The Nationalist Party yesterday accused national broadcaster PBS of “blatant bias” in favour of the Labour government.

PN communications spokesman Clyde Puli said the comments made recently by Labour MP Marlene Farrugia against the development of virgin land near Marsascala were completely ignored by PBS.

He said PBS could not argue the comments were not newsworthy because they were given top priority by all the other news organisations in Malta, except the PL media.

When she made her comments about the proposed development, Dr Farrugia had also complained that she was being censored by her own party’s media. She complained that One TV had stopped inviting her to participate in television programmes.
