Fundraising with a fashionable twist

Media personalities, singers, journalists, politicians and entrepreneurs, together with some of Malta’s most talented and dynamic women, will be letting their hair down and partying in aid of Action for Breast Cancer this evening.

Some of Malta’s finest women will unite to show that while having an array of different opinions and thoughts, when it comes to a good cause like action against breast cancer, they will all forget their differences and party the night away.

From the initial concept of a private event for members and friends – Party in Pink has now become one of this year’s sought-after media parties with a number of star personalities having confirmed their presence.

“It has been amazing to meet and work with so many dynamic women – all experts in their own field – and all ready to give their time and donations to Action for Breast Cancer,” said Sabrina Mulligan, organiser of Party in Pink.

“From major companies and brands giving out gifts for the Party in Pink raffle to sponsors for photography, accessories, venue, food, wines, fashion shows, it has been exhilarating to work with so many admirable women, all ready to give a helping hand,” added Ms Mulligan.

The Black Pearl is the chosen venue for this event. With touches of pink, the magical ship will be opening up its doors to the women in Malta who have truly made a name for themselves. Guests from all over the island will be able to enjoy great food, fantastic wines and dance the night away to the music of some of Malta’s favourite singers.

While the aim of the event is to celebrate Action for Breast Cancer’s work during 2010, donations are welcome and appreciated. Party in Pink celebrates some of Malta’s most determined women as well as the men who constantly give their support and love during all the circumstance life may bring.
