Vodafone together with Voices has developed Malta’s first ever virtual choir for all those who fancied being part of a choir but never had the opportunity to do so.

Vodafone Malta’s Facebook page is prompting logged-in users to answer a few questions so that participants can be sorted into virtual sopranos, alto, tenors or bass.

As from yesterday during the Voices concerts, hundreds of profile photos of the virtual choir members were projected on stage in synchronisation with the music.

“What’s more, one could be totally off-key and it won’t matter!” said Alexandre Froment-Curtil, head of marketing at Vodafone Malta. “Now everybody can support Voices and participate actively in the performances in a virtual manner. Everyone can be part of the virtual choir – even those who cannot physically make it to one of the performances!”

Vodafone is creating a virtual social network of backing for the many initiatives it supports regularly. Anybody can be part of the choir by simply logging onto their website www.vodafonevirtualchoir.com or by directly accessing Vodafone’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/vodafonemalta.

“Let’s take our Facebook personas on stage and make Voices bigger than ever this year,” concluded Mr Froment-Curtil.
