Parliamentary Secretary Tonio Fenech, on behalf of the National Good Causes Fund, has presented a cheque to MaltaSong as a part-sponsorship for Natalie Gauci's performance on Saturday during the final night of the Malta Song for Europe Festival.

The National Good Causes Fund, timesofmalta.com and the MaltaSong Board have been working together to bring the 26-year-old singer to Malta.

Ms Gauci won the Australian Idol contest last November and has been on a national tour in Australia since January 2. She travels to Malta later this week on an Emirates flight accompanied by her brother Michael, who is on her tour's management team. They will be staying at the Vivaldi Hotel.
