The police have issued a list of roads where parking will be prohibited on Friday because of the President's swearing-in. Cars will be towed.

The details are the following:

5 a.m. to 9 p.m.:

Triq Ġlormu Cassar, from castille Square to the War Memorial,

Castille Square and the surrounding area, 

Merchants' Street from St Dominic Street to Old Theatre Street,

Archbishop Street between St Paul and Bakery Street,

Republic Street between Archbishop and St Dominic Streets,

Mediterranean Street between  Triq l-Ixprun and Dar il-Mediterran, Xatt il-Barrieri.

Floriana

5 a.m. to 9 p.m.:

The Mall from Great Siege Road to City Gate, 

King Edward Street and City Gate. 

Siġġiewi

2 to 6 p.m.:

Providenza Street 

San Nikola Square.

Qormi

2 to 6 p.m.:

Pinto Junction,

High Street near St George's Street. 

St Sebastian Street

St Bartholomew Street.
