Michelle Caruana (The Sunday Times, March 22) suggests that local businesses have been insensitive to the parking needs of Swatar residents.

On the contrary, Tal-Herba Group, developers of the Tower Business Centre, value and respect the needs and concerns of the communities in which their member companies do business, striving to meet and even exceed the requirements of local residents and enterprises. It would be difficult to rule out population growth, the increasing reliance on motor vehicles, the overall growth of the area's commerce, roads under construction or larger projects as potential causes for a rising demand for parking in the Swatar area.

Designed by Forsite FS Design, the Tower Business Centre aims to be a monument and a testament to the success and power of its tenants. Spread over six levels below road level, there are over 240 parking spaces for those who work and trade within the building, at HSBC call centre and the soon to open APS Bank branch, as well as for visitors and residents in the area.

Working hand in hand with local councils, top architects, designers, engineers as well as the local residents, Tal-Herba Group provides solutions which are culturally sensitive and socially constructive.
