Does the bus shelter at Paola Square have to be removed every time the local feast approaches, just to make space for four columns holding the statues of the Four Evangelists?

There is enough space for these on the church parvis, one of the largest in Malta, thus leaving ample space for people to use the pavement, especially wheelchair-users and people pushing prams and pushchairs. Besides, those waiting for buses have no shelter from the sun.

Transport Malta should carry out an on-site inspection first before allowing the bus shelter to be removed.
