Crowds of people took to the streets of London on Sunday for one of the most unusual races in the UK, the London Pantomime Horse Race.
The event is now in its eighth year and aims to combine the traditional British Christmas pantomime with the Brits' liking for pubs.
Around twenty teams dressed up in costumes, many of them cow or horse outfits, and raced a quarter of a mile through the streets, taking pit stops at various pubs on their way towards the finish line.
The teams were made up of paired runners, with one wearing the head and another the back end of the costume.
