Palumbo Malta Shipyard is insisting its employees have a “harmonious” relationship with the company’s management.

In a statement, the company said all those working at the company were geared towards the same goal – credibility of the shipyard.

Palumbo was reacting to comments by General Workers’ Union Secretary Tony Zarb, who last week accused the company of failing to comply with all the terms and obligations of its concession agreement with the government.

Mr Zarb also questioned whether the company had taken equipment from the shipyard in Malta to others it owned outside of the country. The company denied this.
