A bouncer at a Paceville establishment was arrested last night after being found in possession of a variety of drugs, the police said.

The 29-year-old from Qawra was found to be carrying some 150 grams of cocaine, a number of ecstasy pills and a small amount of mephedrone and cannabis.

The drug was in packets ready for trafficking.

A search at the bouncer's house revealed electric weighing scales, small plastic bags and about 1,000 more ecstasy pills.

A magisterial inquiry is under way.
