An overcooked pudding caused a fire alarm to go off and two fire engines to be deployed to Qui Si Sana this afternoon.

The incident happened at about 1.30 p.m. when a resident in a block of flats phoned the Civil Protection Department after the fire alarm went off.

The Department also deployed a 'turntable ladder' since this was a block of flats, but fortunately the fireman found the incident was nothing more serious than a pudding that had been forgotten on the fire.
