Horse racing

Jump jockey Paul O'Neill was given a one-day ban yesterday by Britain's Horseracing Regulatory Authority for headbutting his horse. O'Neill had been unshipped from his horse City Affair before the start of a race in Stratford last month. He was captured on camera by TV channel At the Races jumping to his feet and grabbing the horse's reins before nodding his helmet on to the horse's head. He will serve his ban next Friday.
