Last week, I took someone to Mater Dei Hospital and as I was driving from the outpatient department along the right ring road to University, the traffic was held waiting for cars entering the parking place to the right.

Apparently, the automatic bar which regulates entry to the car park is too close to the ring road and so, if there are three cars waiting to enter it would mean that the second and third vehicles block the ring road. As there is plenty of room into the car park access road, would the authorities please consider relocating the oscillating bar mechanism further downhill into the access road to the car park, thus minimising the blocking of the ring road in emergencies due to following cars entering the car park?
