The House of Representatives rose early this evening because there were no Labour MPs for the adjournment speech.

Government and opposition speakers alternate for the adjournment and today was the Opposition's day. But when Home Affairs Minister Carm Mifsud Bonnici moved the adjournment and the Speaker, Louis Galea, asked for remarks, but there was no one on the opposition benches.

The House therefore rose at 9 p.m. and meets again on Monday.
