The Office of the Prime Minister has stopped the selection process for the posts of correctional supervisor and senior correctional officer at the prisons amid fears that administrative action may have compromised the process.

The OPM said it had acted promptly to ensure that the process was not vitiated, even though the rules of the Public Service Commission had been followed.

Measures are being taken for the selection process to be resumed as soon as possible.
