An open weekend promoting agricultural education is being held by the MCAST Agribusiness Institute between tomorrow and Sunday.

During the open weekend, at the Agribusiness Institute, Luqa Road, Qormi, visitors can learn about the different techniques of crop and animal keeping. Pets will be groomed and tours of the institute's premises will be offered, inkling to the new exotic animals' room.

Agrarian products will be sold while and laboratories will be open for a more detailed close-up of animals.

On Saturday evening, a food tasting of of Maltese products food will be held providing information on the processing of typical Maltese products.

Tomorrow:

13:00 – Discussion: Animal Welfare

Saturday:

10:00 – Fish Farming

11:00 – Turtle Rehabilitation

Sunday:

10:00 – Domestic Animals Nutrition

11:00 – Poultry Husbandry

12:00 - Rabbits Breeds & Breeding

13:00 – Apiculture

14:00 – Fish4Tomorrow Campaign

Tomorrow the institute will be open between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and from 4 to 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
