An open day was held yesterday at the prehistoric temples of Ħagar Qim and Mnajdra.

Protective tents were recently installed over the prehistoric temples while a new visitors’ centre was inaugurated. Information was provided to visitors on the temples, the conservation of stone and other objects, the natural surrounding environment and past scientific projects.

Visitors could also observe the clay works and obtain information on the discoveries made during excavations.
